Josh Brolin talks about the differences between the filming of Dune and Marvel s films
This week was the expected confirmation that Dune - Part 1, the adaptation of Denis Villeneuve of the acclaimed science fiction novel of Frank Herbert, would have its expected second part.
The film came the past September 17 to Spanish cinemas, but it has not been until October 22 when he did the same in the United States, where he also debuted in HBO Max (in Spain is not yet on the platform).
The people of Comicbook were talking to Josh Brolin about the different experiences that Dune s filming was compared to Marvel s films.
Bolin, who gives life to Gurney Halleck in Dune, played the Villano Thanos, the Loco Titan, in the MARVEL cinematographic universe.
Thanos s role gained importance in avengers: Infinity War and Avengers Endgame, although he had various appearances along the infinity saga.
During the interview, Bolin took special emphasis on the fact that the Movies of Marvel have a greater factor of improvisation in terms of script, with changes of one day for another.
However, Dune, being an adaptation as faithful as possible to Frank Herbert s novel, has much less margin to make too radical changes.
Josh Brolin also highlighted the immense scenarios that were used for the filming of Dune, with a brilliant detail level, while Marvel s films do a lot of use of the green screen, leaving a lot of work in the imagination of the actors.
However, Josh Brolin has said that there are two exciting styles, as well as different, to make a cinema, without going into debating which of the two is better.
The second part of Dune is scheduled to arrive at 2023 to theaters around the world, and Denis Villeneuve already warned that it would soon put everything underway as soon as they had Warner s green light.
