Vadigo combines a familiar gameplay with a new fresh turn
This year has already seen the release of so many wonderful titles Rogue-Like / Rogue-Lite. Of Skul: The Hero Slayer in Curse of the Dead Gods via Loop Hero - there was an uninterrupted wave of new games for gender fans, yet, despite coherent versions, all these games managed to stand out . theirs. Voidigo is in a situation a little different from others that I listed above. Unlike the rest of these titles, Vadigo is still in development and has just come out recently in Steam's Early Access, so even if I had the pleasure of playing the full experience for these three other games, I only had the Chance to discover Voidigo's debut but believe me, it's not a bad thing.
Although it is still developing, Vadigo looks like a complete game while you play it. The game is a chaotic shooting game from top to bottom with a colorful aesthetics and fun and stimulating boss battles. The fight, the layout of the map and the general design of the game are very similar to those of Vlambeer Nuclear Throne and Dodgeroll's Entre The Gungeon, but it does more than enough to stand out from its predecessors.
The three games have a similar descending shooting gameplay with a variety of characters to play, weapons to use, objects to find, enemies to kill and parts to explore. Where Voidigo stands out, it is in its fundamental premise. Boss's fights are not just something you do at the end of a floor as in Enter The Gungeon, they are something you do on all the ground when you explore the card. In Vadigo, you will need to clean Beacons in the hope of stopping the propagation of the void and, in doing so, we will weaken the wandering boss on the map. You see, in Vadigo, the boss can appear or run away at almost any time and even if you can track down, you will need to clean enough tags to be able to overcome it once and for all, but do not wait too much Long or you will be the one who will eventually be hunted.
It is an interesting twist to be able to fight a boss from time to time throughout a level. The bosses themselves are intimidating and well designed, which makes them extremely satisfactory to overcome. Being able to chase strategically or avoid the boss as needed gives the game an impression of Monster Hunter. You are not limited to finishing a fight once you started, instead you have the freedom to choose when hitting or when retrieving and retrieving. Of course, there are also a number of regular enemies here to ruin your day you will have to watch, so do not be too comfortable when the boss is not there.
I mentioned earlier that Vadigo looks like a complete game while you play there and this is largely due to the refinement of the fight. Each weapon is different from each other, but it is still able to pack enough meat to do the job. Firearms are not the only thing you find throughout your shopping, because the game also offers a ton of melee weapons to hit your enemies.
The fight is difficult but at a feasible level where I do not feel like banging my head against the wall trying to survive from one room to another. At this point, there is only one playable character, but with a solid variety of firearms and power-ups to get, more than just a variety of racing to prevent the game of Feel too old or repetitive. There are even a number of bonus challenges you can take up throughout your race to better prepare for future challenges.
Visually, the game is extremely bright and colorful and has a truly fun global aesthetics with some additional customizable HUD options. There are also a large number of difficulty options, which is often a missing feature for gender games. Remember that options are never a bad thing, because these choices could make the game accessible to players who would otherwise have not been able to take advantage of the experience - and it applies to the easiest and most difficult difficulties Difficult.
At present, Vadigo is not one of the great rogue-lite genre, but that does not mean it will not one day. The game still has room to develop because the series are relatively short and linear, and there is currently only one character playable to my knowledge. However, with all that being said, Vadigo is already feeling like a really fun game that is both familiar enough to put myself at ease but unique enough to stand out other similar titles. If you liked Nuclear Throne or Enter The Gungeon or even Monster Hunter, I recommend you consult Vadigo. __
