Olympia - Sailing: Wanser / Winkles are sixth - mills with historic gold

Luise Wanser and Anastasiya Angle from Hamburg were sailed on the last regatta day in Enoshima as second in the final medal race of the 470s on a sixth place. Without the two-time disqualification for kick-off, when the trapezoidal west of the feeder was 260 grams too heavy, the strong appearance would have meant silver.

Olympic champions in the 470er was Hannah Mills and Eilidh McIntyre from Great Britain. Mills had previously won silver in London 2012 and Gold 2016 in Rio and is now the most successful sailor in the history of the Olympic Games.
